1. Who we are

Tenurely (“we”, “us”) provides employment date verification services to hiring organizations. This policy describes how we handle personal information collected through tenurelyhr.com and in the course of providing our services.

2. Information we collect

  • Website inquiries. When you submit our Get Started form, we collect your name, company name, work email, phone number (if provided), package interest, estimated volume, and any notes you include.

  • Candidate information. When a client engages our services, we receive a candidate’s name, work history (employer names and stated dates of employment), and the candidate’s signed authorization. We collect only what is needed to verify employment dates.

  • Employer responses. We record the dates of employment confirmed by each former employer’s HR department, along with the status of each request.

  • Technical data. Standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, provided by our hosting provider.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to inquiries and provide our services.

  • To contact former employers, with the candidate’s written authorization, and confirm dates of employment.

  • To deliver verification reports to the requesting client.

  • To operate, secure, and improve our website and services.

4. What we do not do

  • We do not use third-party background check databases.

  • We do not conduct reference checks or verify salary.

  • We do not sell personal information.

5. Candidate authorization

We contact a former employer only after receiving the candidate’s written authorization. Our outreach identifies the purpose of the request and is limited to confirming dates of employment.

6. Automated processing

Outreach and follow-up with employers are performed by automated AI agents. Every result delivered to a client is based on confirmation from the former employer’s HR team.

7. Sharing

We share candidate information only with the former employers being contacted, the client that requested the verification, and service providers that help us operate (such as hosting and email delivery), under appropriate confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information when required by law.

8. Retention

[PLACEHOLDER: define retention periods for inquiry data, candidate data, and verification reports.]

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Candidates may also withdraw authorization for future outreach. To make a request, email hello@tenurelyhr.com. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm applicable jurisdictions, including CCPA and GDPR, and required disclosures.]

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
